Emergency Shelter Project Installations - Dion Laurent

Dion Laurent's ongoing series of Emergency Shelter/Studio Projects are self-contained, self sustaining bio-environment, solar, wind, and geo-thermal emergency shelter projects, serving also as the artist's home and studios for his related EarthMan1 and EarthMan 2 performances and projects.. This Emergency Shelter Studio Project series has developed and been exhibited internationally and widely viewed in Europe, the US and via the internet. The Shelter Project(2002 - 2003) has been reviewed on Furtherfield.org, and all installations and related EarthMan performances have been widely promoted on furtherfield.org(London), rhizome.org(New Museum,NY,NY), and by numerous international art blogs and news media since 2003.
